Hi everyone, I am a public health professional based in India, I recently came across "UNICAF scholarship" for the Online MSc Public Health through (University of Suffolk).

I am on a very tight budget and I'm trying to figure out the actual final cost of the degree. because my application process is currently sitting with £35 (INR 4,500) application fee, I believe it's non-refundable.

Has anyone here actually completed a online masters degree through Unicaf scholarship ?

  1. What was your final total cost ?

  2. Are there hidden or additional graduation or transcript fees I should watch out for?

  3. Is the workload manageable while working full-time?

I'm looking for honest experiences. Thank you in advance !

Hi everyone,

I'm based in Delhi, India, and I'm looking for a legitimate, fully online or distance-learning MPH (Master of Public Health) degree that I can pursue without relocating.

I've done quite a bit of research and here's what I've found so far — hoping the community can add to this or correct me:

What I already know:

- UGC-DEB does NOT permit a full MPH degree through distance/online mode in India (so no Indian university can legally offer a pure online MPH)

- IGNOU only offers a PG Diploma in District Health Management (PGDDHM), not a full MPH

- Medvarsity's 'MPH' with Max Institute is NOT a UGC-recognized degree

- Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kerala offers a Hybrid MPH (mostly online + some contact sessions) — this seems like the most viable Indian option

- International options like University of New England, University of Florida, University of Michigan, and Brown University offer 100% online CEPH-accredited MPH degrees open to international students

What I'm looking for:

- A full MPH degree (not a diploma or certificate)

- 100% online or distance mode (I'm unable to relocate)

- Affordable fees preferred

- Recognized / accredited (UGC for India, or CEPH for international)

My questions:

  1. Has anyone completed or enrolled in the **Amrita Hybrid MPH, Kerala**? How many contact days are actually required per year?

  2. Are there any other Indian universities offering a legitimate online/hybrid MPH that I may have missed?

  3. For those who did an international online MPH (UNE, UFL, UMich, etc.) from India — how was the experience? Is the degree recognized by Indian employers/NGOs/government?

  4. Any affordable options I may have overlooked?

Any guidance from people with first-hand experience would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance! 🙏
