The Great Indian Specialty Coffee Directory
Hello fellow coffee lovers,
Exploring the various specialty coffees available in India is fun but with the myriad choices and specifications available out there the process can soon become overwhelming. Many times, I have wished for an easy way to filter, compare and select specialty coffee offerings. So, I decided to do the hard work and create a comprehensive repository of all the specialty coffees available. I present to you The Great Indian Specialty Coffee Directory.
Clicking the link allows you to access the directory where you can explore coffees offered by most of the roasters operating in India. Use the column filter option to focus on your topic of interest. For example, you could filter based on a brand, or a particular estate or a roast level, or any combination therein. Before you begin, I must list some disclaimers:
- Only Indian origin coffees are included, commercial coffees and SIFC such as the one containing chicory are excluded, cold brew is excluded.
- Any empty cell is due to lack of information from the roaster
- Prices are calculated per 100 grams by referencing pricing of 200- or 250-gram pack
- Anything particularly interesting shared by the roaster is included in the Notes column
- If the roaster does not provide Arabica varietal details, “Arabica” is shown.
- Many roasters are not very forthcoming about the post-harvest process. Hence the empty cells.
