Simple, but satisfying…

I used contact paper and the Rit DyeMore Graphite (for synthetics). Totally immersed disc in a small wash tub of hot water, just below boiling, full bottle of dye. Let it sit in my hot garage for about 24 hours. The black came out really dark, not gray at all. The little lines on rim are from gaps in the contact paper.

Things I miss…

Hello, all!
I have used this service from its very early days, when it was Google music. I use it to play my music that I have uploaded. I currently have over 5,000 tracks uploaded. I usually just got my library and hit songs/shuffle all. I do not use any other music service or listen to the radio as all of my local stations have gone to a syndicated platform.
The things I miss the most:

  1. Create a playlist. Once in the long ago, you could pick any song from your library and hit “create playlist”. It would populate all the music in your library in that particular genre with a high degree of success. 90’s playlist… select song, hit create. Hip-hop… same. Two buttons, done. At the time it would populate 40-50 tracks that fell into that selection. It was very useful to the songs I was in the mood for with very few skips.
  2. Editing song info. I want to upload the album artwork. I want to add or edit the track/artist/album name.
  3. Other meta info. I could see the number of times I played a track and also the number of times I skipped a track. I could sort by any of the track info such as album name or even track length.

I miss when it was Google music. It seemed like it was taken care of by people that actually like music and wanted a good experience for the listeners.

Bringing these things back would be most appreciated.
