Hey guys, I’m new to the fish world. I’ve had my tank for a little over a month. Started with water conditioner and waited two weeks to add a betta. (Water parameters were perfect) I’ve had my betta for about three weeks.
I did a 40% water change last Tuesday, water has been perfect. I tested two days ago, water has 3.0 ppm nitrites. I since then have done a 50% water change with conditioned water (tested perfect before adding to tank). I added Seachem Prime and stability as well as stress coat. Still testing for nitrites. What else can I do??? (Pls be nice I’m learning)
It is a 10 gal tank with 5 live plants, 1 betta and one snail.
