Hi all,

My (cis-F) spouse (MtF, using they/them) and I are having difficulty maintaining romantic intimacy without sex.

Since we took sex off the table we've kept up morning cuddles, hugging, short kisses, holding hands, but the past two weekends when I've tried to cuddle up with them and kiss a bit, they've turned me down.

They said they're having difficulty being intimate with me because they don’t know if I'm staying with them.

We've continued to go out, watch tv together, talk about our days/feelings, etc...but both of us are worried this is turning into best friends/platonic.

When sex is off the table, what suggestions do you guys have (besides the ones I mentioned).
