Had a wholesome moment while feeding the pigeons. A little kid came running towards the pigeons and I yelled at him to stop. He said he wanted to feed them too. I told him to go grab his dad over and I’ll show him. Gave him a handful of seeds and told him not to jump or get startled if a pigeons sits on his arm to eat and their claws and beaks don’t hurt at all so don’t worry. Well a pigeon did rest on his arm and he got to pet it while the dad snapped some pics, told him “See? If you’re nice and gentle and you respect them, they’ll want to be your friend.” And he was all happy. Gave him some anti bac to clean his hands once he was done and was a wholesome experience. Hopefully kid learns to appreciate pigeons and be more respectful 😙
