Plot hole?? Or not? How was this Aunt even Alive after the Fall of the American Government
So, I'm not sure how to reconcile this, but Aunt Phoebe (D'Arcy Carden) admits she's a former CIA Officer, but wouldn't the entirety of those people be executed by the Sons of Jacob during the overthrow? My brain keeps arguing that she shouldn't be alive to begin with, especially this far into the existence of Gilead. The only things I can think of being possible are:
She was a Covert operative in deep cover, hence why she was missed;
A plant by the CIA in the early days to figure out if the chatter was real;
3)The Daughter of someone important within Gilead; or,
4)Originally kept alive by the Eyes to monitor the Red Centers, kinda like the Driver's and them seeing as not letting this kind of asset go to waste.
To me, this leave a big plot hole. Can anyone make this make sense?
