Another day, another ridiculous 14 player SnV game! I drew the philosopher token and was in two minds: do I go Dreamer and help town, or do I go snake-charmer and lie to town? I decide to do the latter. I do not hit the demon first night, and am made mad as the Savant. I was quite happy with this since it gave me an excuse to lie to town and hide for a bit.
Day 1, I claim Savant to people and give out some believable information. Some damning seamstress info comes out that frames the Demon in a non-Vortox world, and somehow they don’t get executed, but instead we kill the seamstress for Vortox.
Night 2, I hit the said Demon and become the Evil Vigormortis. I am made mad as the Savant, and then I am woken yet again to learn that I was pit-hagged into the Klutz! I was so thankful for the Twin Pair, else the game would be over.
Day 2, I give out some hilarious fake savant info: either the demon was snake-charmed, or one outsider is currently evil. Both are, of course, true statements. The old demon outs to town, and the Pit-hag makes a dubious counterclaim that they were the one snake-charmed and says that the Good Twin is the Evil Twin. Town does not believe the Pit-Hag and gets them on the block. I realize it’s over if the Pit-Hag dies, so I break Cerenovus madness. I still need to klutz-pick, so I pick the Clockmaker (looking back, I should have maybe picked the Good Twin to make people a bit more suspicious of the Good Twin if they build me as evil).
Night 3, town was asking me why I did that, and I reveal that I am in fact the starting Klutz, and that the snake-charmed demon was lying since if it was Vigormortis, there can’t be any outsiders. A dreamer had saw me as Klutz or Nodashii the night I was pithagged, so people believed for sure that I was the klutz!
Day 3, no one died obviously. I rush to the Pit-Hag and they had made the Clockmaker into the Mutant. I urge them to make the Cerenovus into the Fang Gu if they survive tonight. All we had to do now was ensure the Pit-Hag survived today! Thankfully, people believed I was the Klutz (which is technically true) and so I got the old demon executed.
Night 4, the Pit-Hag turns the Cerenovus into the Fang-Gu. Another night of no deaths!
At this point, town is convinced the Demon is dead, and decide to kill the Pithag then kill the Evil Twin. We unanimously vote for Pit-Hag and kill them.
Night 5, the Fang Gu jumps to the Clockmaker-turned-mutant.
Day 5, town solves that it was a Fang Gu jump but are in the wrong world. They believe I was the starting Philo who snake-charmed the demon, was made mad, and I decided to get myself killed as a Vigormortis to sell the Good Twin as the Evil Twin. Unfortunately, the dreamer outs and that world falls apart, but town believes I am evil (but don’t know how).
Town kills the Evil Twin, as the Harlot had slept with the Good Twin and died with them the night before. At this point, the jig was up, and the Dreamer was getting Fang Gu as the evil character for all dreams. The Oracle had a 4 (!!) and people were beginning to suspect the now-Fang-Gu.
Day 6, good unanimously votes off the Fang Gu, and finally, the game is over: the Good Team wins!
An absoultely amazing game. I think if the Pit-Hag had made a demon first before making the Mutant, we could reserve the option to jump to anyone for another day, but we did our best despite all odds. Also, if no one counterclaimed the snake charmed demon we might have been fine, since I was trusted to be the Klutz and their story wouldn’t make sense! Great solve by Good, and great story-telling.
