I'm in NYC and started training for a nursing home...3 days (8 hours each) of preceptorship on 3 different floors. I just finished my third day and that nurse had 36 patients. That could be me. I could ask for a 4th day but honestly it feel that a 4th day would make it that much more helpful compared to 3 days. Does anyone have experience as a new grad at a nursing home with 20-40 patients? I am rethinking this if I should even do it.
