Hi everyone,

I’m an Indian applicant currently evaluating MBA offers/options from Leeds University Business School and University of Edinburgh Business School, and I wanted honest opinions from people who have studied there, know alumni, or are currently working in the UK.

A little about me:

• Indian student with work experience in tech
• Looking for strong career growth, international exposure, and long-term ROI
• Interested in consulting, tech management, or strategy roles after MBA
• Considering factors like:
  • employability/job opportunities for international students
  • brand value in the UK and globally
  • alumni network
  • post-MBA salaries
  • visa sponsorship chances
  • overall student life and networking opportunities

I know Edinburgh has a stronger global brand overall, but Leeds seems to have a good reputation and lower living costs. I’m trying to understand whether the higher cost/brand difference is actually worth it as an Indian student planning to build a career abroad.

Would really appreciate:

• honest reviews
• placement realities
• ROI perspective
• experiences of Indian students
• whether either MBA is truly worth the investment in the current UK market
