Im a 16 year old girl with strict, arab muslim parents. This summer, June 17th, is my older sister’s graduation, which is all the way in Canada. I want to see it, and plus we already decided to go to Canada this summer, so it only feels right to go early in June since my last final exam is May 29th. However, my younger brother still has school until July 3rd, which means we’re forced to stay since the school is pretty strict on attendance. I’m really close with my sister and I don’t want to miss her graduation, but Canada is super far away, i’m in the middle east, so it’s over 10,000 kilometers away. I’ve flown many times and I’m confident I can go on my own, and plus I can call them the whole way. I just want to go early, then my brother and my parents can come to Canada once my brother has finished school. Any tips ??

(Also forgot to mention that I was born in montreal and lived there for a while and i visit every now and then so I know my way and I know that it’s safe, I just believe that my parents just don’t trust me to travel across the world on my own.)
