Explain what I could be walking into and my best options please

I’m a broke college student who is currently buying monthly $65 phone cards through straight talk on a broken iPhone 13. Tomorrow I plan on looking into Verizon. I will only be paying for one line and would like to purchase an iPhone 16 new. I will be asking about the student discount. My current phone is shattered both front and back, Face ID broke, doesn’t charge past 80, overheats easily and I sometimes have to hold it in front of a fan to cool it down, it sometimes will glitch and scroll on its own, and once unplugged will easily drop down 10+% in 2min or less. I don’t expect to be able to trade in this junk.

I don’t have much money to my name until Wednesday but tomorrow is the only day I can go in. What will be my best plan? I’m also aware on the autopay discount but unsure of how that works.

i will be finishing my first semester this week! rn i hold an 85 in fundamentals and an 88 in pharm. i need to make sure i at least make over a 78 on my fundamentals final, im terrified.

this semester was a big learning experience on different study methods and how to care for each patient individually. i’ve also grown to be even more appreciative of the health i have and have learned to not take anything for granted.

i haven’t saw too many crazy things in clinical but what i did see really put things into perspective for me. everyone’s lives are vastly different, and the hospital is one of the biggest proofs of that. some ppl are bringing in life, while others are experiencing their last day. some ppl are coming in with a long journey ahead of them, while some are finally getting to go home. some are getting the worst news of their life, while others are finally getting peace.

i loved clinical and all my patients and i couldn’t imagine myself in a different career.

i’m so thankful i had encouraging professors, especially when i miserably failed a pharm exam and i thought i was over, but i received some amazing advice and my next pharm exam after that i made a 99!!

im really excited for mental health and med surg 1!! i know i have a long journey ahead but im very excited to learn and take on new patients!!

how did your semester go? what were some highs and lows for you? what did you learn about yourself?

and if you are graduating in a few weeks, congratulations i’m so happy for you (and a little jealous too)!!!

i’m asking this as a first semester student with one week left.

during my last clinical rotation this semester we got the chance to see some other units such as ICU, dialysis, wound care, ER. there are many more i’d love to see and cannot wait to see. during my rotation i was stuck on med surg and learned very quickly that that’s not what i want to do.

i’ve went into nursing school battling between l&d and picu (neither have i gotten to see ofc bc im not in peds or ob) but i did get a tour of the l&d unit and got to see the OR for c-sections which was pretty cool!

on my last day when i got the chance to see some other units and help with basic tasks, i was inspired by each one, besides dialysis, but i did love talking to the patients in there! each unit i went into i was like, “oh i want to do this, this seems really interesting” or “oh that’s so cool i wanna do this”

HOW DO YOU DECIDE??? i love it all
