Does anyone have any advice for getting a 499 or 498 set up for the coming 26/27 and how early do I need to reach out to profs/PIs? I feel like I am a bit behind in the whole research process in my degree but still want to give it a go, one of my TAs said I should just go for a 499 instead of starting in a 398 or 399... its kind of intimidating so any info or tips are appreciated!! TIA
