Help! I dont know what to do to appeal my mobility
Hi everyone ! First time pip claim so I apologise if this might be a silly post (please be gentle).I apologise in advance if my grammar etc. is poor I'm stressed out and its making my fog worse 😅
As the title states I'm not sure how to appeal to get mobility. I got my text yesterday stating I've been awarded and looked today at the proof of benefit on the gov.uk portal and only getting standard daily living (which I'm grateful for!).
I have to use a mobility aid whenever I move, I discussed at length with my assessor that I get tired and out of breath from walking less than 10 meters and sometimes have to use to partner as support and will take breaks when walking. The walking makes my pain worse but its a necessity when working in an office if I need to go to the bathroom or get a drink.
I spoke about other aspects such as having to research a lot before going somewhere and having everything saved to my phone on journeys otherwise I get panicked.
I thought this would have been taken into account and I'd be awarded some level of mobility as the mobility issues I have directly intertwine with my daily living.
I have Access to Work so I dont have to hurt myself getting to and from work on public transport, would this have impacted my assessment?
I havent received my award letter and im not sure if they show any breakdown but any advice on next steps ?
