I searched my photo on Google and it said Mtda. Maui Charm ‘Sakura.’
I reached out to a seller that currently has the Mtda. Maui Charm out of stock. They said it looks like Oip. Celtic Sun x Burgundian ‘Bizarro’ —which just happens to be in stock and available to order/ship… I think you can understand my hesitation.
So now I’m here to see if anyone else has seen this plant before (or owns it) and can confirm if it’s a Mtda or an Oip hybrid. I reached out to the orchid show/shop too, but I haven’t heard back.
In hindsight, I could’ve asked one of the ladies at the shop, but it was busy and I didn’t want to be a bother. Plus some of the orchids I was looking at had questionable leaves (looked like the start of fungus), so I was hesitant to pick up the Mtda that was right next to them. I spent the winter battling mealybugs. I’m extra picky with individual plant health and their surrounding friends at a shop right now.
