AITA for being annoyed at MIL
Me and SO got married yesterday, we had a small wedding with only a few close family. We had a really low budget, but found something perfect for us within that. we hired both a photographer and videographer so we could share the memories with our families after the event.
We asked for no phones in ceremony etc, but in hindsight didnt explicitly say not to block the photographers/videographer for the few hours they were there. As in all honesty I thought that went without saying.
MIL decided she was going to spend the day taking photos. There were several occasions where the photographers missed perfect natural photo opportunities because she was stood in their way. Or her and FIL walked with us and tried to follow us down to have our couple only photos. I spoke to Husband about it at the time and he was annoyed to. but in unclear if he actually said anything to her.
Despite this behaviour all day whilst we had the photographer she took 0 photos in the evening meal where we had no photographer.
She has then sent photos to all of Husbands extended family that we havent seen yet, I’m not sure how many or what photos. we were excited to share the professional photos we got last night with everyone, and now feel like that moment had been ruined.
Am I right to be annoyed at her. theres nothing that can be done to fix it in my eyes. we had a lovely day, we still have some amazing photos (from the preview). I have no idea how her behaviour has affected the video yet.
I just feel like shes taken that moment of sharing those photos with everyone away from us.
