Those who set up for renfaires and organize events at them; what is some advice you would give for a new group who would be doing their first renaissance faire?
Any recommendations for things outside of the basics for fighting?
This is a non tournament event and all advice is appreciated!
I'm making a shield to use for profights and maybe melee, what is your favorite or go to shape of punch shield? I am indecisive and need help choosing what shape of shield to make.
Pics would be helpful, thanks everyone!
Would a full maximillian set be viable for melee? I know it has good coverage but wanted to know if there were any who had pros, cons, and suggestions for modifications to the style?
I would be participating in melee, and duels (IMCF and BI)
