i know we’re all still processing the end of the trilogy but that rumor about an animated venom project in the works with tom hardy producing actually makes so much sense. as much as i love the live action movies the cgi can get a bit messy when you have ten different symbiotes fighting at once in the dark.
if they go animated like the spider-verse movies they could finally do the really insane stuff from the comics that’s too expensive or hard to do in live action. imagine seeing a full scale knull invasion or the world of the symbiotes with a really unique art style. i’m honestly more hyped for this than i would be for a standard venom 4 right now. would u guys rather see tom hardy return for one more live action movie or are u down for an animated "fresh start" for the character?
ngl i thought it was gonna be a bit too much when i saw the trailer, but the actual sequence in the movie was so creative lol. it makes me wonder what else the symbiote could bond with if he really wanted to. imagine a venom-shark or something for an underwater fight. the "animal bonding" stuff was such a fun addition to the powers in the last dance. what animal do u wish we got to see him bond with?
