UPDATE: moved from step 7 back to step 6. Is this process going to drag out?

Help?! Filed initial claim in November, completed hearing, medical, and mental health C&P in Jan & Feb. didn’t hear anything until late April when I had to complete another, identical mental health C&P exam. The examiner was not sure why we were even doing that appointment and stated that I should not have any other exams after that one. That same day I moved to step 6 and then step 7 the next day. Now I’m stuck at step 7 and yesterday I received an email that I should look out for another C&P to be scheduled soon 🙃🙃🙃🙃 what is going on??
