hello everyone,
about three months ago i found some spots on my bed and called pest control. low and behold i had bed bugs. they sprayed the whole house three different times about a week apart each time. i washed and dried all of my clothes and put them in bags/totes and put most of my belongings in totes (after thoroughly inspecting them) when preparing for the spray. everything has been kept in totes since then. it is has been about two months since the spray is completed and i find about one dead bed bug a week in the bathroom. no spots or evidence in my room or on my bed. I am moving this weekend, and am riddled with anxiety thinking about bringing them with me. i am not bringing my bed or any couches. the only furniture i’m bringing is a desk and some other nightstands. i plan to thoroughly inspect them before bringing them with me, but what else should i be doing to ensure that they won’t come with me? i’m running all of my clothes through another high heat dry cycle and bagging/putting them in totes and keeping them out of the house. i’m not sure what to do, and it all feels very hopeless.
