Is 3 years really enough time to become a fully independent GP?

Do you guys notice a real difference between a newly qualified GP and one 3, 5, 10 years later? Perhaps more of a difference than you'd see in other specialities?

Asking as a slightly bitter resident who could have been a GP 2 years ago but instead has several years more training left 🙃

What do you think about the name Lowen for a boy?

It's Cornish for happiness or joy, and is the male version of Lowenna. Most of our friends/families have been supportive but some have seen put off.

I should add, I'm Cornish and our surname is Cornish
