I made a FREE script to turn 2D Scene into 3D Scene in literally seconds
Hey everyone in the DaVinci Resolve community,
Every single time I wanted to move a simple 2D Fusion setup into 3D, it somehow turned into a mini engineering project.
First you add ImagePlane3D nodes to everything, then a Merge3D, then Camera3D, then Render3D… then comes the fun part where the entire scene looks completely wrong and you spend more time moving the camera on the Z axis trying to match the original 2D composition again
After repeating this way too many times, I finally made a small free script to do the boring part automatically. You just select the nodes that you would normally attach to ImagePlane3D nodes manually, run the script, and it builds the whole 3D setup for you in a few seconds. The elements keep their original layout, the camera gets positioned correctly, and you skip all the repetitive node wiring that makes Fusion feel like punishment sometimes lol.
