My kids love adventure fantasy, but I'm having a hard time finding more that are kid friendly. We just finished Mark of the Fool, which was a bit too much, as we skipped over several scenes in the later books.

Mana Mirror was great, as was Cradle.

Bonus points for female MCs to keep my daughter more interested.

Action combat is fine, as is occasional character death. No gore, or mentions of sexual assault. Light swearing is acceptable.
