Cat Acting Lethargic.
My boy cat Binx is less than a year old and has always been pretty healthy, recently my fiance and I came home from work and usually he runs up to us from wherever he is at full speed, today, we had to go find him under the bed and he still was hesitant to come out. We noticed two odd things besides him acting lethargic. His front paw nail was slightly split, but I don't think it reached the quick. His nails feel much much rougher today when playing (the little he did). My fiance said while walking around normally he lifted his back paw up and hopped. We only saw him do this once and while he still remains pretty lethargic, he's eating normally, takes treats, and still wants to be held. While the vet is a bill I'd rather avoid since it's quite costly, of course he comes first and I will bring him if he's still acting off tomorrow. I am writing this to see if anyone has had similar experiences or any additional insight to what may have happened or extra advice for the situation. Thanks in advance.
