Using Elgato Wave:3 + Wave Link + OBS on MacBook Pro and I cannot get OTHER people in Discord calls to be heard on Twitch stream.
Important:
- My mic works perfectly on stream
- Game audio works perfectly
- I can hear Discord friends in my headphones
- OBS Stream Mix works
- No echo issues anymore
The ONLY issue:
Discord call audio from other people is not being captured on stream.
In Wave Link:
- Wave:3 channel works normally
- Discord channel does NOT light up green when other people talk
In Discord settings:
I do NOT see:
- Chat Mix
- Stream Mix
- Personal Mix
as speaker/output device options, even though those virtual devices exist in Audio MIDI Setup and Wave Link.
Things already tried:
- Restarting Discord
- Restarting Wave Link
- Using ONLY Stream Mix in OBS
- Trying Discord Helper application capture
- Setting Discord output to macOS Default / External Headphones
- Reinstalling Wave Link
Question:
What is the correct setup on macOS to get Discord voice chat audio into OBS/Wave Link for Twitch streaming?
Please ignore the discord audio audio mix I originally tried to used desktop audio capture at first but it’s no longer active.
