I just got the 15 key and already ordered the + to have 2. Wondering what everyone uses theirs for, whether it be general convenience or editing (I edit photo & video regularly).

One I set up was a button to mute only the active app because every time you load up a new game, it's so loud. My keyboard already has a knob with a button feature that mutes all audio, but this is nice to only mute the game until you can go into options.

Unzwar habe ich seit geraumer Zeit das Problem dass das Reagate VST Plugin nicht mehr funktioniert auch wenn ich alles einstelle wird es nicht auf dem Mikrofon angewendet gibt es dafür eventuell einen fix? Da ich „Reagate“ hauptsächlich immer benutzt habe würde ich mich freuen wenn dies irgendwie wieder funktionieren würde 🙏🏻

It's my understanding that switching sample rates was possible with Wavelink 1 and 2, but the new update literally blocks microphones from switching to 96 kHz. I want 96 kHz because it's a higher data-transfer rate and should make my microphone transfer better sound quality, but now I'm being forced by Wavelink 3 to use worse audio. 💀 Is there some kind of a work around or do I literally have to uninstall Wavelink 3 because it's screwing up my computer?

Note: I used my Wave Neo microphone in Windows 11 settings and it let me switch to 96 kHz, but after I installed Wavelink, that setting has magically disappeared and Windows has a warning that says, "This is currently being used in another app and changing it too much will cause problems." so Wavelink is basically gate-keeping me from the 96 kHz setting I know is possible. The Amazon page advertises it as 96 kHz and that's the entire reason I bought it. It's on the official website, too. Elgato Wave Neo — Technical Specifications – Elgato

OK, so I know software development is an incredibly complex process and with a modern computer, that complexity is multiplied due to compatibility issues with both hardware and other software, but the experiences I am going to discuss here have occurred consistently on multiple PCs (with different hardware) and on both Windows 10 and Windows 11, so I'm fairly sure it isn't my setup! Most of my issues are with Streamdeck.

In no particular order:

• If I go to open the icon browser to change the icon on the button, it takes MINUTES to display.
• When I open some button's settings, it can take up to a minute for the configuration to fully populate. (This has been shown mostly with the Companion and API Plugins.)
• Sometimes, a button press just doesn't register, or if it does, the action is delayed by several seconds. Since I don't know which it is, I end up giving it 5-10 seconds (which feels like 5-10 minutes when I'm "live" and pressing it again - only to find that it DID in fact register the first time and it gets pressed twice. (Particularly annoying with a Toggle)
• I try to keep my software up to date, but since the latest release, I have found Streamdeck often just hangs for a while (anything from 5 to about 30 seconds) The UI is "Not Responding".

I also have Keylights. They regularly disappear from control center and need rebooting. WTF? WHY???

I don't think I have an overly complicated setup, but I do need it to "Just Work". I rely on it for both my job and my hobbies.

Like many software companies, they seem to be overly focused on the "new shiny thing" (right now, everyone is chasing AI) and they lose sight of the basics. I don't care how cool the new feature is, if the underlying functionality isn't there to support it reliably, then it's pointless.

This subreddit is littered with complaints about Wavelink, or Camera Hub, or <insert pretty much any Elgato Product here> not reliably performing the functions it is supposed to. I love the whole ecosystem conceptually, but I have to wonder how the hell they stay in business when their software simply doesn't live up to their hardware.

Sorry to vent, but I just lost an hour or so of work due to the software silently failing and me not noticing.

I have an Elgato HD60 X and it's connected to the PS5.
I also have and done the following.

• Updated to the latest version on the 4K Capture Utility.
• Made sure to set audio from HDMI to Analogue on the 4K Capture Utility software.
• I got a new Chatlink Pro cable with the groundloop isolator turned on.
• The headset is a wired headset (Astro A10) and it's connected well to the Chatlink Pro cable. I can hear the game audio no issues on it.
• HDCP on the PS5 is turned off of course.
• PS5 Audio is set to controller headset and still no sound on OBS. I tried HDMI but not working as well.
• I got the Video Capture device set to HD60 X and it shows the stream no issues.
• Desktop Audio is set to laptop headphones connected via wiring (It's NOT the Astro A10 connected to the Chat link Pro and it's a different headphone).
• Mic/Aux is set to HD60 X.
• Audio output capture is set to Laptop speakers (My monitor has no built in speakers).
• Audio input capture is renamed to "HD60 X audio" and it's set to Elgato HD60 X. No sound from there at all.
• All audio channels are set to "Monitor and Output).
• On the Global Audio setting, my Sample rate is 48 kHZ. Desktop Audio is the laptop headphones (NOT the one connected to the Chatlink Pro since its a different one).
• Again on the Global Audio setting Desktop Audio 2 is disabled.
• The Mic/Auxiliary audio is set to the HD60 X.
• Mic/Auxiliary audio on 2, 3 and 4 are disabled.

I would also add that all my Audio Mixer is NOT producing any sound despite setting them to the HD60 X capture card.

I need help because no matter what I do nothing seems to work and my stream produces no sound on OBS. I can hear the game through my headset no issues but the sound isn't on OBS.

I’ve been using Stream Deck heavily for development, automation, support workflows, and daily productivity.

One thing that surprises me is that the built-in Text plugin still only supports static text.

It would be amazing to have placeholders / variables support like:

• {date}
• {time}
• {clipboard}
• {app}
• {username}

Even basic dynamic variables would unlock a huge number of workflows:

• quick support replies;
• timestamp insertion;
• coding snippets;
• dynamic stream titles;
• automation macros;
• terminal workflows.

Apps like Alfred, Raycast, Keyboard Maestro, and TextExpander already do this really well.

Feels like Stream Deck could become much more powerful with even simple placeholder support inside the Text action.

Does anyone else want this feature?

Hello! I currently am using a stream deck plus and an elgato 4k, both hooked to my gaming pc sending the audio through the elgato 4k to my streaming pc.

Is their a way that i can split the tracks on the streaming pc so i can have my music playing on my streams but not have them saved on my vods

I understand i can play my music on my streaming pc instead but then i have to wear a second headset and that can be an audio nightmare especially with my mic.

I want to take the elgato 4k audio and split the tracks on the streaming pc. the only option i have audio wise though on obs is just the 4k without any way to split that i can visually see

The new elgato mk2 devices got DSP, and i saw there is a expander. But just got the old device a couple months ago i was avaible to get everything that is included in the DSP on the marketplace expect for the expander. Can u get it ? And also i want to keep using wave link 2 since 3 hasnt any use for me.

As the title suggests, my Wave Link inputs are gone. I didn't do anything, touch anything, or change anything. I just opened my computer, noticed my audio settings were off, glanced down at my streamdeck (which showed none of my presets), opened Wave Link and inputs were gone.

I want to preface this with also saying, my streamdeck regularly, at least once a week, fails to show my presets and I have to unplug, replug it in, restart Wave Link and Streamdeck to get it to show up.

Please help.

I’m trying to figure out if I’m just having incredibly bad luck, or if this is a widespread bug affecting Mac users after the recent Apple updates.

Ever since I updated my Mac Studio (M4 Max) to macOS Tahoe 26.5, my Elgato Wave Link 3.0 software has been acting completely possessed. Here is what's happening:

• The Trigger: Any time I open YouTube, a media player, or any application/software that handles audio, Wave Link immediately forces itself open.
• The Loop: I close the app, but within a few seconds or minutes, it just launches itself right back up again.

It’s getting incredibly frustrating to deal with during daily workflows and recording sessions. I've heard rumblings from a few people on Facebook and YouTube saying they are dealing with the exact same issue every time a sound-heavy app is triggered, so I know I'm not entirely alone—but I wanted to check here to see if the Reddit community is seeing this too.

I don't have a Windows machine anymore to test if it's cross-platform, so this seems highly tied to the latest Mac update. Classic Apple update breaking things, right?

• Is anyone else on the Mac side seeing this constant auto-open behavior?
• If you found a workaround or temporary fix, please let me know!

I get that there are those who have major gripes with Elgato (especially concerning WaveLink). Thankfully I have had a pretty positive experience with minimal issues (though still have the issue of no audio when waking from sleep/hibernation).

My Question though is, what system are you running when loading Elgato programs? Laptop, Desktop, Mac, PC? Just curious.

I've heard so many issues with Wave Link 3.x that I want nothing to do with it. I'm also _happily_ on Windows 10 extended support, which to my understanding doesn't work with 3.x at all. I'm very happy with Wave Link 2.x at the moment.

Can I use any of the new hardware (XLR Pro, XLR Mk. 2, etc.) on Wave Link 2.x? Or are competing products my only option for avoiding 3.x?

Nearly every update elgato pushes out, breaks almost everything. I updated wave link to 3.1.1, and it ruined all of my channel settings and only my stream deck channel would work no matter what I did. I spent hours trying to get it to work. I reverted to the previous version, 3.1.0, and it wont even open, crashes immediately. Went to 3.0.0 it would open, but was unable to install any drivers. reverted to 2.x and it would work, but then for some reason my camera hub stopped working? wtf! I uninstalled and removed everything elgato related from my computer, tried it all again, still does not work,. I completely reinstalled windows. wave link 3.1.1, 3.1.0, and 3.0 does not work. installed 2.x and now it crashes every time I add my stream deck channel, and cant use my mic. I tried to reinstall 3.0 AGAIN, now it fails to install every single time. I havent been able to stream since 3.1.1 came out, and i have nearly $1k in paper weights.

@elgato. Was wondering. When will the xlr pro be getting released. Do you guy have any news yet
