I just got off of birth control a little over a month ago after I finally decided I was ready to try for another baby after the trauma of my labor and delivery of my now toddler. I have a 41 to 45 day cycle, so I knew getting pregnant might be difficult. For my toddler, it took me about a year to get pregnant. When I finally did, it was after I relaxed during a vacation, went to the beach and didnt worry about anything.

About 2 weeks ago, I felt pain, which I believe was ovulation pain due to not having ovulated for so long from birth control. That week, we were getting ready for our trip to Tampa. Hubby was taking toddler to the beach while I went to see BTS for Day 2 with a friend. The next day we all went out the beach and had a blast. On the was home, I felt some mild cramping. I joked that if this was implantation cramping, then this would be our BTS baby.

Well, I guess this is officially our BTS baby! I'm nervous because it happened so fast. I was planning to try for a year. Had my perinatal appointment for planning for a high risk pregnancy set for July 13th, but hopefully now that I am pregnant, I can get an appointment earlier!
