Has anyone used Clover Meds for their compounded tirzepatide?

Hello,

My doctor recommended Clover Meds as her patients who have been on it for over a year use the compounded semaglutide from that provider and have had good success. They are smaller and only offer to 4 states including Florida where I live.

The company also offers compounded tirzepatide which is more where I’m looking into. So I was wondering if anyone has tried them/had any experience to give. Thanks in advance. I’m a complete newbie learning as I go and also talking to my doctors.

Also, my friend who takes Zepbound is cautioning me against compounded. However, I do not have the money for the name brand. My understanding was that even though it’s not FDA approved, there are still reputable pharmacies who have to test/research their medication like at a licensed 503A or 503B pharmacy. They also warned against additives but I was looking at the B6 as I thought it be helpful to have something help with the nausea.

Clover Meds

Hello,

I spoke with my doctor today about weight management medication. She recommended clover meds for a compounded semaglutide as it was cheaper out of pocket compared to the name brands are price/affordability was a concern for me.

She said she has other patients who have used it for around a year and have had good success with it so far. She did tell me that it is not FDA approved. I have gone in their website to read more about it including the reviews but I’d love some feedback about it.

I’m new to all of this so I’m still not sure how a compounded semaglutide is different or how it works in comparison to the name brands. Also that it’s not FDA approved and how that works with it too.

I’m super nervous to start this process and what to do what is best for my body/wallet but I am ready to start loosing weight. Thank you in advance!
