Mouse illness advice
Hi! I have a colony of 3 female mice who are around 10 months old. Around 2 months ago I noticed one of them was making a raspy, honking noise that continued to get worse. Since noticing it she has been on pain killers and 3 different types of antibiotics (at different times) and nothing seems to be working for her. My other two are totally fine showing no issues whatsoever. She has no other signs of problems and is eating and drinking fine, super active and no mucous around her nose. The room has no excess dust and has an air purifier close to cage and I don’t use dusty beddings. Sometimes it’s really bad and sometimes I can’t hear it at all. From what I’ve seen it could be mycoplasma, but my other two have shown absolutely no symptoms. Me and my vets are puzzled.
Just wondering if anyone has experience with this and what is best to do to make sure she is as comfortable as possible!
