I never even wanted to get married until I met her. I tried to be such a good loving partner. I worked on myself to be a better person. I forgave them for emotionally cheating with her ex. I listened to her concerns and applied them. All for what? For her to admit she hasn’t been trying but still expects things to change. To be told I’m not enough of a pushover, not dominant enough, not agreeable enough. To realize she’s never once chosen me.

I also found out last night she only proposed because she knew it was something I wanted. She was just people pleasing.
