Is any of this actually necessary?? Feeling kind of put off of my favourite mechanic.

I have a 2018 Mazda 3, automatic. I asked for a tire change, all my tires are on rims. asked for them to just look at my brakes since I don’t think I’ve had them looked at in a minute. I asked them to change oil if possible since I had it changed in January and I’d rather not make another appointment in June.

They sent back a quote for an off-rim tire change for $180 with recommendations for alignment for $195, brake fluid flush for 210, throttle body cleaning for $220, and transmission flush for $410, all before tax.

My car is at 95,000km. I got the alignment and balance checked about a year ago and it was golden, just had to get the strut mounts replaced. Bought it at 68,000km from a dealership where it had its transmission flushed/changed, I would assume the throttle body was cleaned, and I’m more worried about the brake pads than I am the fluid.

just feels like theyre recommending unnecessary shit?

edited for a typo
