I was born at end of 63. I don’t get loads of the stuff on here as it’s all v US focused.

My experience was growing up with my brother and sister playing Glam rock when we were t having power cuts.

Liking the Bay City Rollers at 10 or 11 and watching Shang a Lang.

Then riding home from school to watch Grange Hill when l was at secondary. Thatcher being voted in and my mum swearing at the TV. The anarchy of Tiswas

I was doing my A levels during the Falklands War and got very drunk on cheap Argentinian wine. Listening to Joy Division and Talking Heads. Reading the Face Magazine and watching the Young Ones.

Went to Manchester and discovered The Smiths. Felt my life was complete at 20!
