Just got back home from my procedure. Everything went well! The prep wasn't nearly as horrible as I expected, I did the Dulcolax plus Miralax with Gatorade split prep (half last night, half this morning). The procedure went well. All of the staff and nurses/doctors were so kind and calming. Everything I read here plus their kind/calming demeanor made everything predictable and easy. My anesthesia was done with Propofol, the anesthesiologist said I was still talking and asking her questions after the first dose so she had to give me extra. I don't even remember that but thought it was funny. I woke back up quickly, felt perfectly fine, and went home. Not polyps or abnormal findings. Just posting to help assure anyone else with anxiety that I, as a person prone to panic attacks, honestly found the whole experience way less scary than anticipated. 😊

Starting the clear liquid diet today, my colonoscopy is at 4pm tomorrow. Is honey allowed? I'd love to use it to sweeten some tea but my instructions do not specify if it's allowed or not.

Is orange Jell-O ok? My instructions say no red or purple. Orange is obviously not red, but the ingredients state the color comes from yellow and red food dye, so is it not allowed or am I overthinking?

I sent a message to the provider's assistant but she's a bit slow on responding so wanted to ask here too.
