Hi guys, I’m a poster designer. I design many custom tour and festival posters. I’ve been seeing lots of hate for these AI posters and I totally agree, don’t use AI! be creative, be original, have fun! I want to volunteer to work with some great people in this community and make some posters to your liking!
My 2027 Rockville poster will be out very soon and I have included 4 very strong artists who I think will definitely headline or be a part of the festival next year!
My 2027 headliner predictions include BLINK 182, RADIOHEAD, BAD OMENS, and SLAYER! I feel like these are very exciting, strong predictions and hopes for next year’s festival.

I heard somewhere that WTR is planned for Mother's Day weekend for the next 3-4 years. Anyone else upset by this? I know I have a choice not to go and we may end up not going one of those years, but this is the 1 trip we take annually without the kids, just as a couple, and we have gone every year for 7 years. Has anyone heard this Mother's Day weekend rumor too and substantiated it? If so, if I were to look elsewhere what's better... LTL or Sonic Temple?
EDIT: Danny Wimmer made a post about how WTR can't be during hurricane season and in that post he said that next year it will be the "same weekend". So we know for 2027, at least.

For my girlfriend, and My brother, and myself, it was Cradle of Filth. We had heard their music before but boy let me tell ya, it did not sound the way we remembered it which could be due to just not remembering how they sound or something I don't know. All I know is, now when my brother and I see each other now or randomly ill torment my girlfriend with it, we hold a air-mic with both hands and mimic his ear piercing screech singing that left us laughing out loud at points of the set. We'll never forget it. Shout out to Cradle of Filth

Now that we are post 2026 WTR which sets were you hyped for that you walked away from feeling meh. For myself it was either Guns & Roses or apocalyptica.
For me, it was Bring Me The Horizon. My radio is on Octane more than half the time, so I've heard their music, but didn't really consider myself a fan. They absolutely crushed it.
Second favorite that I'm not a fan of? Alice Cooper. He was amazing for 78 years old, and Strauss was on fire?

Little rant cause Im mainly warning those that wanna go next year but cant afford to miss much work.
I carefully planned my vacation around this festival even giving myself 3 days after to recover, then work was kind enough to extend it two more days. So I had sick time reserved incase festival with hundreds of thousands of people do what it do. But life isnt that convenient and woke up with 102 fever this morning 2 days back to work. Felt bad cause calling out after vacation isnt fun but Its the risk of traveling and partying.
So when you reserve vacation next year maybe dont even bother with extra days like I did, cause it may not even matter. I dunno I know people are getting sick but curious if anyone else had bad luck like I did?

I’m having serious fomo from all the WTR videos and I want to start planning for next year. ST is significantly closer to us by about 5 hours, but WTR looks like a hella good time and I kinda had my heart set on going there. Is one a better experience than the other or are they basically the same?
