I’m in need of a new MacBook, and a store near me is having a sale now where they M5’s are $200-150 off, which is pretty appealing (it ends Friday). However I don’t really need the latest bells and whistles since I mainly use it for school and surfing the web. So do I wait for Memorial Day sales on M4s or buy the discounted M5’s now? 🤔

Everytime I start tracking I’ll quickly run into a day where I either get take out (from a non-chain restaurant) or go to a friends place for a meal.

I don’t really want to be that person who is asking about what type of oil was used or how much butter did they put in the sauce, so I either guess, or I don’t log it, and then after a couple of those days I feel disheartened and stop tracking.

So what suggestions do you all have for me?
