This afternoon I received a phone call from the Winooski PD that my debit card had been turned in on July 31. I missed the first call the evening of 7/31 from WPD, and never looked at my voicemail, so they were calling back. I rarely use the card, so I did not even know it was missing!

I wanted to send a belated and whole-hearted THANK YOU to the kind person that promptly turned it in. The world needs more people like you. May your good heart bring great rewards back to you.

I have a large cat tree that is otherwise in good condition except one sisal post now shredded to the wood. I asked Pet Food Warehouse if they know anyone who can repair it, they do not. I would replace the sisal myself except the way the post is attached is going to take more work than I have experience or knowledge to accomplish.

Does anyone have any supportive suggestions, or know anyone in the area who does lite carpentry work that could help?

I noticed a group of 6 crows come to my yard between 10-11 every morning. I decided to start leaving them some peanuts this past week. They are very skittish and if I'm outside they will not eat. So I have not seen them actually take the peanuts until this morning when I put the peanuts out a little earlier than normal, and then they arrived before 7:30! I also observed that there were eight or nine crows now in the group and there was some fighting which I've never seen before.

Have I gained the attention of two different groups and that's what caused the fighting?

When I put the peanuts out, I place some that are unshelled scattered around the yard, and then I place some still in the shell on a stump. Do they prefer peanuts in the shell or out of the shell?

I have cat food, is this something that they would eat (and be healthy for them)? I'm trying to not attract squirrels so would this be a food crows would eat but not squirrels?
