Discover the dynamic, flowing martial art of aikido. Learn how to relax under pressure and how aikido cultivates core power, aerobic fitness and the path of non-resistance. The circular, blending movements of Aikido emphasize throws and joint locks rather than strikes and kicks. The philosophy and movements cultivate the harmonious resolution of conflict and the cultivation of internal energy, or ki. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and be prepared to move!
