Seeking advice for activities in South Lake Tahoe for older woman

Hi everyone! I have been searching this Reddit, Alltrails, etc., and I am looking for some advice on the best/your favorite thing you would suggest for an older woman to do in South Lake Tahoe. I (20s) will be staying in South Lake Tahoe with my mom (60s) in mid-June for a girls trip. She walks about 20k steps a day but when it comes to hiking, that is not her department, LOL. BUT I would still love for the both of us to see some fantastic views! Besides any of the beaches with the mountain backdrop, does anyone have any suggestions for short/shortish, easy hikes with fantastic views! Even a nice paved path with views will work! Willing to travel out of South Lake Tahoe, but that is likely where our hotel will be.

My mom likes shopping, relaxing, and has some food allergies, so feel free to drop recommendations for any of the above. I've also been looking into the dinner cruise/sunset wine tasting cruise options, and have taken a peek at Serenity Spa. I would greatly appreciate any feedback, tips, tricks, etc! She suggested Lake Tahoe so I am trying to make this an awesome trip for her. I tried my best to search before posting, so I already have some ideas in mind, but want to make sure I get some local perspective to add to the trip planning. TIA!
