What has helped you?

Looking for advice on what has helped you with starting ocd? For me it is worse and flares up in uncomfortable situations when I am in New situations or people. Obviously trying to not do it okay makes it worse so what has helped you? It really affects my self esteem because it is not how I want to interact and takes over experiences for me and feel I can't be my true self.

'F/27' 'M/26' Need advice on if I should be worried about this?

So me and my boyfriend have been together around 6 Months and there are some things that have made me feel concerned, not about anything specifically but maybe just that he isn't being honest. I want to know how to approach this since I have tried before and didn't get anywhere we have a great relationship he's never given me reason to doubt him at this point . Here are some things that lead me to feel this way.

  1. He never answers his phone when he is with me even if it's a mutual friend or even if it's a family member. He just sees his phone ring and never picks up. The rare times he has he goes outside to take the call (I respect his privacy on that) but I always feel bad like why he just never speaks to his friends or family when he's with me as he basically lives with me now and has completely moved over and sleeps here with all of his things and anytime he is not at work he is at my house.

  2. every single time I enter the room and he is on his phone even if he is typing or just scrolling he puts his phone down. His phone is always in a downward position and doesn't have any sound. I asked him and let him know he doesn't have to put his phone away every time I am near and that I really don't mind. It feels like he also faces phone away from me when he is on it as well. He doesn't use social media as well other than Tik Tok and reddit according to him.

  3. most his friends openly cheat on there spouses and are dishonest, he does not agree with it but also is surrounded by men who are not the best to their partners or women. He says that he calls them out for it and says it is wrong but it worries me a bit. His friends have been disrespectful to me as well in the past and he vlaidates it's wrong but doesn't do anything about it and says he knows they aren't great guys but that they are great friends. He's always willing to have a healthy conversation about it and hold space but I worry who he is when I'm not there. I think he genuinely is a good person in my gut but I don't want to be blind to the reality of who his friends are and if that could have an impact on our relationship.
