I notice this the most with farming. Why more people farming or fishing reduces the number of vegetables or fish?

I can understand that its less efficient because those workers can be busy elsewhere but straight up a reduction in amount produced?

So we get both wasted workers AND less food.

This fishery was producing ~126 for days but now has a "workload problem" that cuts 30% off
