I know that most go along the story, but given the VK weapon series, i want to imagine that we as the player used to belong to a VK unit and were the only survivors.

I wondered why we were chosen to be given a Revenant heart and why not another? Were we the only lucky one?

Appreciate any thought and ideas. Love making lore.
