Sound barrier for nearby road?

I love my house but it backs up onto a 55 mph road, that isn’t crazy busy but when cars and especially trucks do go by it’s fairly loud. Any ideas for sound barriers? Preferably some sort of plant, would a tree or some such work to lessen the noise? Preferring something I could quietly plant as the only space for putting up a sound barrier of some sort is not technically my land more a roadside grass area. Thanks.

Looking for Vessi’s but not Vessi

First time poster here. I like to have a few shoes in rotation and typically i wear vessi’s like these, just in different colors. But lately I’m wanting shoes that are more environmentally friendly, and maybe a bit more breathable? But this is exactly the look I want. Any suggestions?

I have the older Google Wifi devices, one hub and 2 points, which when working cover my house just fine. But lately there’s a point or more offline intermittently. We even had our home ISP out to test and per them we are getting exactly the internet service we pay for, no problems from their end. Latest issue was one point was “offline” despite never moving the point, never changing anything, and after many attempts to bring it online I had to reset and re-add it to get it to work.

Is this lower reliability a symptom of the age of my devices, or Google? Will this just keep happening? I like the product and the Home app but my home internet should just work, not require frequent troubleshooting.

If this is renew wrong sub to ask please let me know where to post instead and I can post there. Basically I’m hearing this war in Iran and closure of the Straight of Hormuz is going to cause a potentially devastating blow to oil / gas. But I’m not seeing lines of cars or gas stations running out or anything. And I keep hearing the worst is coming. So when? And how bad? Are we anticipating gas shortages or doubling prices or what?

Hello, I’m hoping someone can help me find new pajamas. I like lounge style pants, not “jogger” where the ankle is tight. I have one pair, very old now with holes and am looking for plastic free replacement, either bamboo or cotton. But everything I’ve searched so far either has some spandex / polyester / nylon or isn’t my style or size (2XL or 3XL regrettably). Any good websites or places to buy?
