With a beautiful cloudy sunset.
Wellington, New Zealand
We've had chickens for the last 15 years, and sadly we're now down to one remaining chook as of yesterday. We want to rehome her, as chickens are flock animals and we're concerned that she'll get depressed and lonely without a flock.
She's a 5ish-year-old Brown Shaver, fit and well as far as we know. She doesn't lay a lot eggs these days, but did lay last summer.
Does anyone in Wellington have a flock of backyard chickens, and would be willing to add one more?
