Hello, so, I have no clue what is going on. I saw someone looking at the gore in this game on the demo and was shocked to realize it was nothing like what I was seeing! Dismemberment and headshots seem to be completely disabled. I live in north america so this shouldn't be some odd censorship issue??
Hey friends! I beat this game a bit ago. Ending complaints aside, I love this game. I’ve modded it white heavily for QOL aspects and really just enjoy building, cooking, and exploring. I’m a humorous dude who spends way to much time playing games, as I am 18 and not too packed with stuff this summer. I have racked up almost 200 hours on SOTF. Nothing major, but I’ve really just found this game relaxing. Now that I actually have done most of the things in this game, I’ve back pedaled to The Forest. I do see major differences in the content in both games. Now that I’ve played a good chunk of the forest, I can understand where a large portion of the dislike comes from. I really, really wish they didn’t abandon this game already. It seems as if they wanted to be done with it with how disjointed the ending was. It’s a beautiful game and I play it all the time, unwind and get lost in the scenery. Regardless, for people more experienced with the first game, why do you think Sons Of The Forest has so much hate surrounding it?
Was on an off with my PC for almost a year but finally I hunkered down and got to work on this game. Super cool!
Trying to figure out what the disconnect is here. I've seen people make longer rope bridges without pillars in between to act as a buffer. Any ideas on if something looks off/tips? Much appreciated.

The cellar is not connected directly to the entire base, and that took a lot of work to make sure it was level as the river terrain is iffy. Even then, the parts that are are sealed off via the door, and this bug was present BEFORE I made this cellar as an add-on for storage and what not in a compact environment. I don't see why the logs may not register as insulated, as some of the log pillars within my base are split to allow me to place slanted leanto style apex sections.
Any Ideas? I thought a video would provide better insight.
