Groove Agent 6 worth it anymore?

Since Steinberg as already introduced patterns in the DAW itself, is there any use to Groove Agent? How is it compared to other big player like Addictive Drums, Superior Drummer etc?

Does it have any use left as a sampler perhaps?

Very vague question so I'll try to narrow it down a bit. I just started off with music theory, but I am not learning formal musical notations and stuff as of yet. I would rather avoid it as much as possible. That said, from what I know, for complex string sections, there are a lot of rather advanced topics which I need to learn. I searched up this question before making this post and I came across terms which i would rather not speak of, for I might become the joke of the day for u educated folks.

Long story short, if any of you folks can be kind enough to take some time to list down some topics to get my head around other than the ones discussed in this video, I would be grateful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VvKeiwddPI&t=2761s
