I recently heard a native speaker say "要不要吗", which I found quite confusing. I thought 要不要 in itself is a question, so what's the need for 吗? Is it just one of those colloquial things? Is it specific to a region?

Or do neighbouring provinces also enjoy it as a breakfast?

EDIT: I'm talking about the combo of the two.

I think it's related to pig meat. Is it a particular part?

This sentence is translated to "She thought that not having any friends was fine." I can see and guess the translation myself. However, I'm not sure exactly how也 is helping this sentence, what is its role?

For me 和 means "and", "with"...

Please help me understand 和 in this sentence - 你没有钱，要和我说啊！

More importantly, should I bother with trying to make sense of it, or just accept and keep going?

EDIT: Redditors helped me realise that I wasn't aware of the rule that propositions (我说) need to come before the verb. I'm learning through CI reading.

I don't understand the meaning of 她们 here. Is it really needed, or can I simply omit it?
