Storing PVC raft
hey everybody. first time raft owner. bought a slightly used RMR after looking for 3 months. fits my needs/wants/budget.
i have a few different ways i could store the raft. I’m wondering what my best options are.…
- fold/roll it into the bag that it came in. keep it in the bedroom closet. heard this isn’t ideal for PVC boats, but many do it anyways??
- slightly inflated, but on its side in the shop. on that note, I live in the country and get mice EVERY winter. I worry about mice chewing.
- slightly inflated but standing up in the shop.
slightly inflated sitting outside all year on a trailer under a tarp. Again worried about mice, squirrels, raccoons, random cats, sun, etc.
temps in winter here will will be 25-50 degrees. not very often under freezing. few weeks out of the year. if that matters? stored folded in the closet 65-70 degrees year round.
I’ll take any advice.
