Is it unreasonable to ask for tests?

My step daughter is going into 3rd grade and she will have the same teachers that she did in 2nd grade. In second grade we never saw a single test or quiz after she took them. We asked the teachers about it and we were told that they keep the tests for their records and to pass on to the next year's teachers.

We as parents don't think this is ok, and we feel that we should insist on seeing copies of all her tests and quizes to help us keep track on where she struggles and where she is doing well.

We already don't like these teachers much after trying to ask a few times where our daughter is struggling so we could give her extra help, we were told 'she's doing great, and would be a solid B student if they went with traditional grades.' then we got the report cards and they showed her as below her grade level in a lot of categories like reading comprehension and a few categories of math. We try to work with her, but knowing the specific things she struggles to understand would help us focus on those areas.

Because of this lack of communication, we feel we must insist on copies of her tests and quizes, but I wonder if we are being unreasonable considering how much teachers already have on their plate.

How to compromise in a wedding

Me (44m) and my fiance (36f) are both only children and are starting our wedding planning. We are truly happy with eachother, and looking forward to spending our lives together. Her family is HUGE and all local and will want to be at the wedding (for reference her father recently passed and there were well over 400 people who came, mostly family). We are both only children, and for both of us this will be our first wedding. My family is significantly smaller (if I invite every cousin aunt and uncle it'll maybe be about 20 people), but all of them would want to be there.

This is the problem. I have major issues with social events where I'm not able to mostly just hang out in front smoking and staying away from everyone. Even then I usually find the first excuse to leave. I don't like being around people, I don't like people paying attention to me, and I most definitely do NOT dance. Never have, never will. Didn't even go to a school dance as a kid.

Everyone just keeps telling me too bad, and just suck it up. There are expectations, and we have a responsibility to them. I said that I will be willing to do one dance with my new wife but only if its in a way that people won't all be gawking at us. Everyone says I have to do a "first dance" and a "money dance" and that I would be a bad host if I'm not out on the dancefloor with all my guests the rest of the night.

This is definitely not something I am willing to do. I am willing to be there, but I do NOT want to be the center of any attention. I need ideas on things i can do to satisfy family, but not have to socialize and do things that everyone will be focused on me. I will most definitely have a major panic or anxiety attack and ruin the whole evening. I can't drink or anything like that so I can't even get myself good and drunk to try and deal with it.

I don't mind the ceremony too much, it's more just the party that is an issue for me. I don't party. Never went to clubs, concerts, etc, all of that just sounds like hell to me.

Road trip in a (heavily) modified car?

How much trouble am I asking for trying to drive across the country in a Modified car? I've seen so many videos of people taking their cars too other states and getting into trouble even tho everything they've done is perfectly legal in their home town. Like per the laws here I can have 29% tint on every window on my car, but i know some states don't allow tinit on front windows, or tint darker than 70%. My car is lowered, with lots of aftermarket parts and lights. All perfectly legal in my home state of Hawaii. It's been a dream of mine to ship my car to Cali and drive it to the east coast for years now but I'm starting to second guess that move now

BOH hawaii cards not working for pizza hut and dominos??

I tried ordering pizza yeserterday for my family, and my card was rejected (pizza hut) and the girl on the phone asked if it was a BOH debit card, which it was. She said they aren't able to process BOH cards for some reason and I would have to come in person to pay with cash. So I canceled the order and tried dominos and had the exact same issue. Why aren't pizza places taking BOH cards anymore? lol!
