currently playing the fifth night. there are so many instrumentals in this album and they give off such a different vibe from the rest of their tracklist. for some reason, i feel like the instrumentals in magic lantern feel heavier (in a good sense) and more suffocating and nostalgic whereas the instrumentals in dakaboku, elma, summer grass, and underdog feels more fleeting. it feels like i’m surrounded by music and for some reason makes me want to cry????

this is so good. i am obsessed and head over heels and i need more. recently got my hands on the second person book as well i cannot be happier.

i (shamefully) used to skip the instrumentals when i listened to yorushika, but now i’m so obsessed with them that i even play them on repeat sometimes😭😭

my favourite is definitely 飛行 (hikou). I don’t know how n-buna does it but it genuinely feels like im soaring freely in a dream. It also feels like walking on the street with a clear purpose. I love it.

as Ado is planning on releasing a second utattemita album, you can now vote on which songs would you like ado to cover!!

i always loved how versatile ado’s voice is, and it is certainly very different from suis’ (What i call) very clear and “transparent“ voice. As a fan of both ado ado and yorushika i always wondered what songs would I want to see ado cover the most??

currently i’m thinking of either august, somewhere, moonlight or hole in the heart.

i’ve also thought about n-buna’s own vocaloid works but ado has already covered dawn and fireflies in the first utattemita album.

So I love natsubaru but gosh do I want to see more of natsusawa and his family, esp since I think it’s pretty cool that saku has an older (who hasn’t appeared) and younger sister, an extremely cool mom, and a dad that we haven’t seen yet. esp after his birthday chapter where mio is seen being so supportive of saku and wants him to be more confident i think it’d be cool to see how his self doubt and confidence plays out when he has exams, and planning his future and seeking advice from his sister (who is presumably working or in uni) and his mom (who was really funny during the parent teacher conference) which can lead to a natsubaru chapter😁😁
