I was taught that the rules are as follows:

1. The person being celebrated gets to post first.

2. If you want to post and the person who was celebrated hasn't posted yet, you need to ask permission before posting.

Please tell me what you think. What is the etiquette you know? Is there anything else I should be aware of? Am I wrong about posting etiquette?

I will appreciate any and all opinions.
